Leadville’s Father Dyer Postal Route and Backcountry Weekend
The Father Dyer Postal Route-April is an annual ski race in early April located in the Mosquito Range.
Test your mettle on this ski marathon summiting three peaks high in the Mosquito Range east of Leadville! The course will include everything from groomed mining roads to the summit of centennial 13er Dyer Mountain at 13,855. This will be the highest ski race in North America!
This is an unsupported team race. $100 per participant. Spaces are limited and all details of activities can be found on the event website or by contacting us directly.
Join us for a fun filled weekend Leadville style! There will be activities for everyone, a slide show, TGR flick, guided cross-country and snowshoe trips, backcountry ski, and ski mountaineering clinics, beacon search park, gear demos, a guided kid’s cross-country trip and much more!
*This is a non-profit event partnered with the High Riders Snowmobile Club and local businesses. All proceeds will go towards development of the Leadville winter trails network and increasing awareness of the unparalleled winter access that Leadville offers.
