4. National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum

Look west on 9th. The large red brick building at 120 West 9th houses the Federally Chartered National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum. The building was originally the Leadville High School built in 1900. The museum is open daily. We encourage you to visit it.
